While Nail has a very distinct sound, this record feels to me the most "metal" out of their catalogue. It's just a feel thing, rather than anything concrete, like "there are more solos" or whatever. In any case, this rules. The record may be a riff salad, but one in which every riff is perfect and carefully chosen for maximum impact. Love live Nails! fyeahmetal

This band’s sound is so despondent, it’s hard to pinpoint the exact genre they belong to because there’s elements of doom, sludge and crust punk all throughout this album but they rank up there with Acid Bath. Josh H.
